NHB Shooting Clinic

Date: 9/19, 5:30pm - 7pm Location: Grassland Heights Baptist Church Grades: 4th – 6th This shooting clinic is designed to teach players the ins and outs of the shooting motion. By understanding the different aspects of the shot (energy transfer, balance, ball flight, vision, etc.), players become more sensitive to what truly matters in their shot and can identify areas that might be hurting them. This clinic is designed to equip players with the knowledge and understanding to evaluate their shot, work on their shot on their own, and adapt their shot to different real game situations.

The theme of this clinic is EXPLORATION. Players will explore shooting in ways that work, and ways that don’t work in order to become more sensitive to what matters and calibrate their system to the task of shooting a basketball. By the end of the session every player will leave with a better understanding of what it means to be a good shooter as well as 1 to 2 things that are hurting their shot they can work on.
